Default Camber Kit Question.

I got a 1996 Accord Coupe, and i'm plannin on gettin Skunk 2 Coilovers. I was wondering if i plan on slamming it (as much as i can, while still being able to drive comfortably) do i need a camber kit? I have the stock 15's or 16 (or watvere size they come in) alloy rims. If so which camber kits would u recommend?

Anything over 1.5" and you are more than likely gonna need a camber kit. Skunk2 upper arm replacements are great imo. The lower you go past 2", the less comfortable the ride gets, remember that.

Not to be mean, but do some research before you dive into modifying the car. like, first, find out what size wheels your car has.

As a general rule, lower than 1.5-2" should have a camber kit(especially rear). slamming the car may look cool, but dosent necessarily make it handle the best. Lower dosen't always mean better.

...Duuur Yes it does ! i know you get a stiffer ride, and i am doin some
research. It's why i didn't slam it yet. I'm prolly not gonna go as low as i can with the coil overs. I just dont like how i have a fuckin 6 inch gap between my tires and my fenders. o well thanks for lettin me know.

any drop over 2" on a Honda looks retarded IMHO and any real Honda tuner would agree. It's fine for shows but driving on the street that low is dumb, why:

1. You'll be bouncing off the bumpstops creating a VERY crappy ride.
2. You'll risk damaging your exhaust, and the front lip of your car at every banked parking lot entrance
3. You'll scrape going over every speed bump.

Stick to a 2" drop and dont' tuck the tires past the fender edges and you'll be much happier with the drive.

I agree with you, i wouldn't wanna damage my lip or my exhaust.i just dont want a HUGE wheel gap. plus the cornering sucks as it is. It feels like im about to tip over (exageration lol). My friend got a 1.5'' on his Acura i was thinkin to go a lil lower than that. wouldn't go past 2''
