hey...this thread's been dead for a couple of days, but i thought i'd put in my 2cents. i ran that b16 hatch at the track on sunday, and broke my tranny. i had the best 60' time of the day when we lined up, and was probably gonna run my first 13 of the day. i had been trapping about 106-107mph the whole day, and was running mid-low 14's with almost 3 second 60' times.

also, my car's the primered civic that was mentioned earlier in the thread, and i was trapping more than 10mph faster than that black hatch.
he's a cool guy, and would like to run him again when i get my new tranny in.

what was your best time of the day? mine was a 14.322@106.39mph with a 2.603 60' time. i'm pretty sure i would've landed in the deep 13's on that last run if my tranny didn't break...i did run my first 32second 1/4 mile tho

i REALLY need to learn how to launch this car.

since when did 13's and 14's become fast?

 

It depends what your car your racing in obviously. If you can get a Geo Metro to run 14's. Thats fast. What do you drive BTW?

 

no, either way 14's are not fast. Doesnt matter hwat car you are in. I drive a stock civic that gets 40 mpg and its the slowest car I ever drove.

yo dave its me with the black hatch... my best that day was 14.1 @ 99 mph and missed 3rd. hit me up when you get your tranny fixed. run again for fun haha. ur a cool dude too. when you blew your tranny I got upset i was like damn he blew his shit running me thats messed up but atleast your getting a new one.
