Busted my rims last night...
i was going about 90 mph on 270 last night.... as i changed lanes i heard a loud kaboom and my car lifted up into the air.. i fast and pulled over...had no choice but to drive 25 miles to get to the nearest gas station...tried to pump that bitch up.. couldn't find the hole.. looked long and hard at my wheels.. found out there was a hole.. the size of a bullet on my wheel.... i was like WTF?! the only explination i have is that someone shot my wheels for a helicopter or a truck... i might have some pics soon.. the reson i made this thread is becasue i need a good wheel shop around MD that can fix it..they are also curbed.. getting that fixed too.. anyone that can help me out.. thanks... i appreciate it..
Damn 90 MP on 270 is a no no. Were you in the service lanes or on teh actual 270 middle lanes? Its kinda crazy that someone would shoot your tire tho. Was there anyone near you at the time. Good thing you were ok to drive to the gas station safely.
i've done 90+ on 270 before, the cops just look and dont bother to catch you, theres so many exits and so many other drivers that there just like ok whatever, but yeah people have shot out tires just for the hell of it before, i've been there the bullet was still in my wheel area though it went through the tire but not the rim.
Theres a place down in Elkridge on Rt. 1. Its called Ye Old Wheel Shop. # is 410-796-8400. $95 to bend a wheel back, but I dont know about fixing a hole or whatever it is you have. But they WILL fix it. Good luck

Hayashi send me a pm. Through my work I have an account with Transwheel (they do alot of rim repairs for most of the local shops). It typically costs around $100 or depending on the wheels, damage etc. One of my boys hit a curb hard in his CL Type-S. It cost $100 to have the wheel fixed and repainted.
