Broke 3 rims due to vdot construction...can i get compensated?
I am going to try and send them a letter first. Anyone who has done this before what did you all do to get in contact with someone to get compinsated?
You probably are not going to get compensated. The "bump" was clearly marked and even if you going under the speed limit it wasn't slow enough for your rims. I've had to get money out Vdot before. Its not easy. I drive up and down that section of the parkway and never had any problems when they have been repaving. Either slow down more or don't buy crappy ass rims. This is not a sermon just an opinion.
thats fine, but when its dark out with not much lighting and you only have one sign that says bump and your going below 50 which is the speed limit and you hit it doesn't matter what kind of rims you have, your still going to damage them. Especially if your shocks are not super soft. But anywho thanks for your .02.
Im going to try to get my money back for my wheels...if they don't pay then they don't pay, im not going to explain the whole story on my rims. If you think they are cheap thats your opinion...i can't afford advans or volks while paying for my own way through college.
