If they are stock colored HIDs which is what i was trying to say colorwise with the 5K color. I was at work and lacked the ability to find the color scale on Kelvins for HID. If they are the stock color than you should have zero prob passing the inspection with them in. The inspector shouldnt be looking at the type of bulb there is unless there is a discrepancy. I know HIDs will fail you automatically from what ive heard in cars that dont come that way from factory but with all the other rust bucket POS's that make it thru you should be fine. GL.
