ARGHHHHH another EK hatch stolen.....
I thank everyone who supported me through this!!! My bro's hatch was found!!
As of 8:45pm, my bro's friend who works in Pohanka dealership found my bro's hatch in the back parking lot.
Almost everything in the car was there. Even his $700 R/C truck was chilling in the back seat still. All his CD's and sweater. The only thing was missing was his bowling ball. What was weird is that who ever stole the car, left thier hat with black hair in it, and some type of plier tool. The cops couldnt get any good finger prints since they were smudged and had alot of dust/pollen on the car. I am sooo relieved!! My bro is definetly lucky

About 3 months ago I bought this 97 hatch off another DragVA member. I just recently sold it to my bro 4 days ago, since his accord's tranny broke on him and he was tight on money. I took real good care of this hatch too....sigh
Between the time of 12:30 am and 2:30am 4/26/06 it was stolen off of Blue Gray LN which is off of singletons way next the 28 and new braddock intersection. Only thing left was on the ground was my driver side JDM window visor......
The hatch has a completely stock motor, and interior besides an EX gauge cluster. The suspension is PIC performance full coilovers (white springs, silver threaded shock body), which I dont believe many people have in this area.
CTR replica rear lip, and a Passenger side JDM window visor (Driver side visor was left at the scene).

i have more pictures at home which i will post that shows everything of the car.
Front lip was already sold before the theft
Shows the faded duckbill and cracks along the driver side of it
the only thing different that was on the hatch is it has a spoon cf wing with a crack along the driver side and has a faded clear coat, the car is slightly lower, has a decent size dent on the passenger side door, OEM headlights instead of CTR's, and silver painted grill.....FUCK...

why is it only hondas/acuras? just curious.. is ther esomething special about 'em or are they super easy to steal or something? why not go jack some m3s? but yeah.. that sucks.. especially after giving it to ur little bro

They choose Hondas because:
1. They are super easy and a lot of tuners these days spend money on turbo kits instead of a security system.
2. Cops around here generally hate imports and do very (if any) investigating when one gets stolen.

there is a huge market for honda/acura parts on the streets, ebay and even shops will buy stolen parts and resell them (this was a commonality with A FEW nova shops a few years back)
sure they can steal M3's but try fitting the S54B32 into an EK shell...
I'm forever done with Hondas, good riddance...
