Because they will look sweet. You can barely see them. It's not like they are white. Trust me...I would never do anything too drastic.
But I've been wanting stripes since I got my car....so I am getting some.

To each their own I guess. I don't like the ones that stand out in stark contrast with the car, but the ones I am getting blend in....and if ever in the event I get tired of them, they are removeable. 
Plus stripes on the new MINI kind of remind me of the original rally Minis.....a MINI is the only car that I actually like with a stripe on it at all.

But hopefully you will be happy with them. Personally I wouldn't destroy that nice fresh silver paint job. KEEP IT CLEAN - no pin stripes, racing stripes, decals, etc. Then again, it's your car not mine. So as long as you like it, it's all good.

It will not destroy the paint. Trust me. I have done enough research on this to know. That is why I waited so long before I decided to finally do it in the first place. Not that I have anything to prove to anyone on here, but I can dig up the info on them if you really want me to.
