well my altenater belt just blew i need someone to install my new one. its a 1990 300zx and have your own tools to do it

 

I would help you if it was just about any other car than a Z32, the engine bays are cramed and my big hands don't fit in them engine bays, I've tried before.

you don't reach down to change the belts you reach up. in order to change the belts and to get to the adjusters you need to be under neath the car with the car on jack stands. to do the job you need to remove the splash guard. 12 10mm bolts/screws then the splash guard comes down then you have access to all the belts,adjusters. by the way you should have who ever works on your car change the fan clutch's that will make your fan speed up and but efficient

ahaah i just did it my self ahah i need to get it looked over you wanna take a look for me? i removed the fan and put a electric one in and now its soo strong my heater cant heat up cause its super cooled ahahah

i just read the thread, and did an alternator swap with all new belts a month ago, hah, should have just typed "usual Z32 problems" i would have surely read it. hahah

 

ahaha i agree shit it pisses me off cause i just turned and the belt came off GRRR ahah oh well that took like 4 hours to do but i got my radiator flushed, oil change, new belts, electric fan installed, and all my fuel lines tighten

 

yeah, which is why i'm really debating just getting the 3G i need for a JDM R32 skyline power machine, complete with turbo, tranny, everything i need. i just hate the way the VG30DETT and DE are put together, but damn they do look crucially intimidating under the hood.
