Are you sure you want to work for a place that just filed for bankruptcy AGAIN to get out of paying pilots benefits and is currently in the process of cutting their pilots salaries??

 

despite what he says, he isn't working for USAir, its Colgan Air, a regional carrier for USAir. Even though Colgans entire livelyhood is based on a contract with US, I'll go with who ever will pick me up first, just need a few hundred more hours before i apply to American Eagle and Continental Express anyways. Colgan's local so if i was based here, it would hurt me much.

Actually, US Air filing for bankruptcy is a good thing for Colgan Air. US Air was planning on buying a bunch of RJ's to take care of routes to 10 cities but now they want Colgan Air to handle those routes. We got our biggest check from US Air last month so despite of bankruptcy, we are still getting paid.

On the other hand, I just hang out with his son and take 3 hour lunches...so I think I can squeeze a few minutes out of my busy day to hook you up. Holler!

 

thats cool, i'd kill to sit right seat in the saab, or the 1900 for that matter. I'm pretty low time though, but the college i got my degree from would probably help out a bunch (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University). I'm pushing 300 hours - well below mins - but i've heard they've hired that low, with a contract for a year or two of service. I've have my commercial, multiengine, instrument with certified instructor ratings.

I've sent it to chuck colgan before, but heard nothing back.

if you have atleast a high school diploma or equal to, go to a temp agency and do front desk work. You can make on average 8,9-10.00 starting. Work your way up. Don't matter if you are a guy or a girl... and how the *$^# you live of a $7.50 pay check son!

 

Yea, i work in fairfax at a place called capital home investments, pay depends on several factors, but no one makes less then $10/hour. Im the assistant manager so PM me if anyone is interested and i will schedule you for an interview ASAP.
