Any place to rent a Mini Cooper??
My dad is looking to buy one, although he's never driven the car. Instead of him going to the dealership and testing one out for a few minutes, i'd like to surprise him and rent him one for over the weekend, is it possible to do this?? If so, where and how much would it cost?? Thanks

In all seriousness...I am not sure i've seen a local car rental place renting out a mini....although when i went to vegas..i rented from this place that owned a huge 4 story garage full of cars, Anything you could imagine...they had. So i guess a trip to vegas would be out of the question

I was in Atlana last week and rented an 07' SRT8 Charger from Hertz for the weekend, I order a Taurus online and got there and they did have any so asked what else I could rent and they gave a list and I gould get things like a 300c SRT8, 07' Audi A6 3.2, C6 Vette, Shelby Mustang GT, Mini Cooper S and a whole lot more, no BS. It was only $55 more a day for the Charger over the Taurus so I was like fuck it, nothing like driving the shit out of someone elses 425hp Hemi for 2 days 
This was an Independantly owned branch of Hertz, so I'm not to sure if you will find one like that around here, but next time I'm down there I will bring some more cash so I can drive something even more fun.

If you are a qualified buyer you can talk them into letting you take a car home for the night or even the weekend.
I took my Acura home for the night before I bought it and showed up the next day with the check.

I think the Hertz, or one of the other rental car agencies over at Dulles has an "Exotic" Car Rental Outlet. When they say "exotic", that means they rent out new Shelby GT500s, C6 Corvettes, etc. along those lines. Check that out, however I think the rental requirements will be stiffer then usual b/c of the cars they offer.
