Whats up NOVA, i'm in the market for an RSX Type-S but the options in hampton roads pretty much suck. i'm looking for one thats in good shape and that hasnt been beaten up on and i've found about 3 or 4 prospects in NOVA.

with that being said i was wondering if anyone out there has some spare time and would be willing to check out a few rides for me in exchange for some cash.

i would prefer someone that knows about the RSX and K-Powered motors, and someone that knows vtec. i know this sounds silly, but i test drove a DC5 today and vtec didn't kick in and the 'dealer' didnt know jack about what i meant. at any rate, feel free to pm or post and we can discuss the terms.

p.s. having a digital camera is also a big plus.

Was it throwing a CEL? Because you should feel the 'kick' on stock non smooth powerbands.

 

definitely no CEL... it was at a dealer... the car seemed 'OK' had a slight tap in the head... but other than that it ran ok...

 

how much you trying to spend? my cousin has a rsx type s with alot of mods done PM me

 

i know coolme and i can help him, i have a nice digital camera things such as color preference, year preference since 02-04 are different then 05-06, mileage, and price would be good to know as well.

 

Sounds to me like the car wasn't fully warmed up. Same on the "head tap" K series, or at least my two k-series are slightly loud with the "tap" sound when very cold.

 

i basically have 50 bucks to offer... year is 02-03 one has 58k and the other has 63 i think. color isnt as much an issue as quality of the car. looking for the titanium interior though.... one is 11500 and the other is 13500.

how long does it take before its reasonably warmed up?
