Give more details please. If I help you fix it, will you take me for a ride in that GSR?

Well apparently you want help over the internet with next to no information. And since you are a gypsy (location: none), there's no way anyone could take a look at it and help.

so good luck with it. From the limited info so far, I'd have to say you were probably putting too much load on the stock head unit with the impedance going to the amp, which probably fried the miniscule amp in the stocker.

ya sure man its on race gas right now (ur lucky) and open down pipe too

ok im not a electronic person so ill try my best to explain

the stock s2000 stereo is hooked to a 2 channel amp.

I checked the power wire with a tester i have it is getting power to the amp and the ground is Good too. I guess there is something wrong with the remote wire but it hooked up perfectly to the stereo and to the amp

my amp is showing no power comming in (amp doesn’t light up)
check all the fuses. They all seemed good (that was 3 days ago)

the way my stereo is set up(bought the car like that) if amp doesn’t get any power the stereo doesn’t work either kinda weird I know

hope this made sense to you.

let me get this straight:
There is 12-14 volts on the positive power line going to your amp, and the ground is good, but the amp isn't coming on? Did you check it with a multimeter? What kind of amp is it anyway (brand/model) ? Are you using a line level out from the s2000 head unit, or are you using a converter (speaker level to line level)? What do you mean when you say your s2000 cd player "doesn't work"? Does it spin the disks, or does it not even come on? Really, every detail you can give us about what happens when you try and run your stereo, and how it's connected would be very helpful. BTW... I still want to ride in that GSR.

What did you connect the remote wire to?

Sounds like the remote wire isn't hooked up.
