Either or, don't matter to me. Even though DC area always has the newest music right when it comes out, my biggest complaint is that they play that newest song to death. They need to work more variety into their playlists, bring various songs back from the 90s. It seems like they just either play the newest songs, or in DC 101s case every once in a while they bring a Hendrix or Skynard or Ozzy song from the 70s into the playlist, and once in a blue moon they bring 1 of maybe 3 different 90s songs into play (exception is Metallica, but even then they only bring in maybe 3 of their songs).

While Hampton Roads or other cities in the country may not have the newest music right when it comes out, they certainly have more variety in their playlists, which makes for better listening in IMO.
