Muscle cars go with 3 inch Single Exhaust to keep their torque. If you run dual 2.5" pipes, you gain power but you sacrifice a little bit of torque in the process.

Btw you need to watch which Camaros you decide to run against b/c FFX has a few that are undercover.

3" exhaust on a 2 liter is fine if its turboed or supercharged. If its N/A, then you may have too little backpressure and you could be losing power from the setup. If you're N/A you might wanna cut back to a 2 1/4 or a 2.5 single setup.

 

Damn, thats a fast v6 then. My car last night was on low boost, but even on low boost, its a mid 12sec car. Im sure it was a SS.

 

The '97 was the only Camaro with new taillights and the old headlights. They're pretty easy to spot. Also, the stock '97 SS had the exhaust exiting out the left side. I think they went back to dual in '98 but I'm not sure.

 

I've seen a black ss on the parkway, we've messed around a few times. It was a 98+ though with a white guy driving. Can't remember his name though.

The single exhaust is from Borla. I think on the right side they have a cutout or something already built for you, I don't like the look at all

 

heh, I knew somone would say that...

The centered exhaust was an SLP option. The only borla for the fbody that I know of is the quad tipped one which is $6xx.
