but as far as i am concerned, i cant stand street racing...i hate when people bug me to race someone for money...i dont mind a friendly challenge, between FRIENDS...but i dont want strangers coming up to me saying they wanna race for MONEY...wtf? this is not the fast and the furious

 

 

Cops don't mess with you unless you act a fool. I know because I did some stupid shit before and the cop said he didn't mind us being there but that we have to act mature. They really don't care as long as we're not racing or doing burnouts etc. He said he knows that we have illegal stuff on our cars and that its fine as long as we obey the law.

that is a different 300zx i am pretty certain if it is the one i'm thinking of, i have met that kid before and seen him run a couple times.. pretty quick car too, cool guy as well

racing for money has been around a long time, fast and the furious has nothing to do with it (though i'm sure it does inspire the ricers somewhat, don't get me wrong there).. just bringing that fact to the table.. some people enjoy racing for the fun of trying to see who can beat who, and the gambling part just adds more fun/interest/variables to the game, that makes it more interesting.. i personally only run for money, but i respect those that don't jsut the same.. to each his own..

 

There's so many spots in Manassas that cops don't know about. If you want to go there, you better have something sub 13's or those 10 sec. mustangs will take your money and fart on it.

 

I can't understand ragging on something that I spent hours working on, have my blood sweat/tears into...and not getting any money for the run. The only people who don't usually run for money or say its stupid are the ones who don't understand that concept.

Also, I want to usually race for enough to pay some of my ticket...if I do get one.

no i fully understand the concept, but i just wouldnt place a wager on my car, especially in it's current form (mid 13's most likely)...If i ran 10's then maybe i would think about it, but in it's current form and my current financial situation, i'd rather just race my car for fun if at all (on the street)
