Not sure, earlier model though. Are they not interchangeable? I don't know these bikes intimately, but I don't think they changed much.

The easiest way to tell is to measure the diameter of the upper fork. If the diameter is 36mm then they're off a first gen (Pre '94), if the diameter is 37mm then they're off a second gen ('94+).
