"The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer". 1) you're not a dealer. 2) $4130 is merely the starting point for negotiation if you were a dealer.
Even that price is a joke. I would like to thank the original poster for a good laugh though. My dad and I thought it was real funny. Apparently he originally posted a response to a critic on craig's list saying that 3k was a lowball. LOL.
I bet he got ripped of by Redline and is trying to recover some of his losses.

$5500?
I bought an '05 636 with a little over 800 miles on it and in the most minty fresh condition freaking possible, DELIVERED FROM KENTUCKY, for $6100... rear stand, two jackets, and a pair of AGV overpants. Sold the gear and made about $300 off of it alone. There are some 05/06's out there like mine that are going for $5500 and some are going for even less if you look hard enough. A 97? You're crazy.

ok people in my 1st post that i have not edited yet as you can tell I have wrote ..... " I WOULD LIKE" " $5500 " which is gonna help me to buy a new bike. I never set a SELLING price. So stop makeing it a BIG DEAL!!! since buyers always wana work out some low price when buying items on the streets or the "WWW.com" its a hustle to get money .. I know how much I got the BIKE for from REDLINE. It was a ok PRICE since I got it from a SHOP and NOT off the streets or WWW.com. I think someone would RATHER PAY the SHOP PRICE and RIDE it HOME that DAY, than get someone elses Junk and have to put MORE money into it that waste time and cost more than just getting a SAFE riding BIKE. what kinda Point are you guys tryn to MAKE HERE other than the Price? since I havent even got any for real offers from you anyways.
