the reason i m sellin it is im leavin for the army my on LAST DEPLOYMENT and i got two other bikes the wife wants this one gone it is in mint condition as is but the guy i purchased it from lied to me when i bought he told me it had a salvage rebuildle title and i rebuilt it and the va state police said its a SALVAGE NON REBUILDABLE title.... what happen was he put sprockets on it had the rear tire off and the bike was on a stand and his son pushed it over well he claimed it on his insurance and they totled it so i got screwed and i rebuilt the bike with all factory plastic and it has racing cams spring retianers and valves in it it has been dyno tunned at 135 hp to the wheel and 80lbs of torque its race ready and etc any more info call me at 540 793 7888

All I am going to say is that it does not make sense that they guy lied to you. When you signed the title is should say what the title is.

you can get it titled in VA just have to get by the systeme.. i done it to old bike of mine and my buddy did it to a truck and car of his... on the title where its state totaled non-fixable.. you fold it like it was in you pocket but where it says that keep folding it thier.. then you wont be able to see it well and its well go right past the person at DMV.. dont it befor and seen it done plenty... good luck on the sale man

 

look i dunno if u can title it anywhere else i dunno i dont care really im leavin for iraq and dont have the time to get involved in it really if u want ti come get it its a clean bike a dealership did most of the work here in roanoke i have all paper work with the bike the frame doesnt have a scratch on it it jus needs a clean frame no its not stolen i will give the original bill of sale with a bill of sale from me to who ever buys it

Uhh I think you misread his post--he said Salvage NON REBUILDABLE. In english that means you cant clear the title, and the bike can never be ridden on the street ever, anywhere.

I think the BIG question should be WHY is it salvage non rebuildable in the first place???
