man i hate to be a dick.. but id take that $200 and run... my friends just got a MINT all stock for free, running with new tires ... those 440s arent worth shit.. and the shape of urs isnt that great..

im not gonna list what i would pay for it.. but i got my kz550 100% stock for 60bucks, with all the body work and everything... $750 is alot for a hacked up kz440..

 

damn 60 bucks shit hollar at me and let me know where ya got that. is the 440 running because posted on craigslist you say it is 300 because its not running.

 

its one of those deals that u have to jump on.. its very hard to find deals like that. i just look online alot.. so as soon as i seen it emailed the guy and said i had cash and picked it up the same night he posted it.. he want $100 but i talked him down.. the bike looked like ass.. it sat outside for ayear without the carbs no tarp.. motor is fucked.. well its rebuild-a-ble but not what i wanna do...

most the time urll find with older bikes its better to keep them stock if u wanna resell them... kz ppl really want them stock. or like what im doing.. they want stock body work but everything else updated

bottom line tho. its a 440 there not that rare. and ppl dont want sumthing that small.. they are great bikes to learn on. but ur newer 250ninja will walk the dog shit out of it. so ppl more want the 650-750-900-1000 kzs..

 

cool man thanks for the info. i have a 2006 ninja zx636 was looking for something to fuck with but hell i can def wait to find a deal on something like what you got. i want something old that i can really mess with, maybe swap a newer motor in a drag it or something along those lines. old as hell makes a nice sleeper.
