Default 99' Ninja 500 - $1650

Quentin
Woodbridge, VA 22193
qpegram@gmail.com

1999 Kawasaki Ninja 500
17.6k miles
Muzzy Exhaust
Acerbis Cyclops Headlight
Inspection good till June
Regina Sprockets and chain installed in November
Tires back 50%, front 35%
New oil and filter
New rear brakes
I have maintenance records.

It was tipped over twice in a parking lot, 2 years ago. So there are scratches and some other imperfections from that. Spot on tank from gas leaking when it was knocked over. The only issue with the bike is its leaking coolant from the radiator cap area, not sure what the problem is. I'm working on fixing it. But as of now it's still leaking a small amount. Bike can still be ridden, just keep an eye on coolant.

COOLANT ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED, REPLACED THERMOSTAT, READ BELOW

All in all a good bike and at a good price of $1650/obo. This price is pretty good for a 99' 500 as 250's go for the same price. More pics can be taken as requested. Please email me. Looking to sell this weekend.
edit-4/24 - Price lowered to $1500

Yes you can use it. Its 100% street legal and has a current inspection thats good till June. It passed inspection with that headlight. It's actually a popular aftermarket headlight. There are other alternative headlights out there. Some people get one signle circle light or double (bug eye) lights. I liked this one the most. But to each their own....

UPDATE
Went by bike shop to see why it was leaking, they said most likely it was the thermostat acting up. So I ordered a new one and installed it this weekend. Went on a test run today and it no longer leaks

Yea I was there last week for work, its a hike. About 2.5 - 3 hours. Ironically thats where I got my new bike from.

Yea but it has 2 broken tabs and wouldn't just bolt right back on. Would need the fairing stay, about $30-40 on eBay.
