I'm selling my bike so I can move on with my other projects. It's a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 600, odometer reads 17,xxx miles but has had the rear sprocket on since 2k miles, I calculate ~12,xxx actual miles. One season (~1k miles) on rear tire, front tire has about 3k on it. Bike went 8.0 @ 106mph in the 1/8th mile - it has the power to run in the 6's, but I couldn't keep the front end down. The thing is ridiculous in 3rd, 4th, 5th on the highway. This was my first bike and I probably wouldn't recommend it to another newbie.
Asking price is $4950.
Mods:
Street Dynamics turbo kit
- Garrett T25
- stainless turbo manifold
- stainless race exhaust
- 6061 al. intake plenum
- stainless charge piping
- Turbo XS blow off valve
- *tuned* Power Commander (11.6:1 a/f on boost)
- VDO boost gauge
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
- Summit FP gauge
- 6AN stainless braided fuel lines
Ivan's TRE
Vortex rear sprocket
tinted windscreen
flush front signals (not wired)
Michelin Pilot Power rear tire, Sumitomo front
Bad:
The bike has been dropped, so it has some cracks in the plastic. When it dropped, the right side mirror and rear turn signal were broken. It also has a spot on the frame where another bike's handlebars rubbed a dent into it when it was poorly strapped in the bed of a truck. Sitting in traffic for long periods of time will make the coolant temp go up. The rear brake pedal is broken.
I will consider some trades + cash, but I'm mostly just looking to sell it.
Thanks,
Marshall

I will vouch for the bike being straight balls to the wall. It is UNBELIEVABLE on the highway. Scary fast. I'd love to have it, but I need something a little cheaper.
