Price: $3,000
Description: For sale is my 1999 R6 trackbike. Selling to pay off medical bills, unfortunately. It is fully race-prepped. Safety wired beyond WERA and CCS requirements, and built to race in superbike classes. It is not superstock legal, although unless you're finishing top 3 you probably won't get protested anyway.
Here is an incomplete list of parts.
Race Engine (assembled by speedwerks) - run octane booster or 112 in it
Leo Vince full exhaust
B&M Filter
Assortment of front and rear sprockets
DID 520 chain
Clipons with vortex bars
Penske triple clicker rear shock
Racetech gold valve kit in the forks, built by Lindemann Engineering out in California
Scotts steering damper
Brembo front master cylinder
Brembo floating rotors
Stainless braided lines front and rear
Graves fairing stay
Attack GP Shift kit
Attack case covers
Yamaha race ignition box
Bodywork in good condition
Pirelli Dragons with plenty of life left
I didn't get the chance to get up to pace and run a lap timer on this bike, since it was my first time on a bike since my wreck/surgery in september. But running mid pack A-group with nesba it was rock solid and goes wherever you point it, and doesn't have any trouble keeping up with newer 600s.
I would like to get $3,000 for it, however the price is negotiable. If the purchase price is reasonable, I'll include a set of pit bull stands and even deliver within a reasonable distance from Raleigh, NC. Can also include some Dunlop 211GPA takeoffs. It has a handful of spare parts, and every size rear sprocket you'd want.
