Thumbs up 1996 Yamaha FZR600 Streetfighter (NOT SLOPPY)

Name: Michael
Location: Hampton
Means of contact: Text/Call (757)621-6520
Price: $2000

Description: Yamaha 1996 FZR 600 Street Fighter as listed.

There is PLENTY of money and hard work put into making this bike the way it is today, and I would really like to see it go to a responsible owner who can properly care for it. I was just let go from my job, and can no longer afford to keep her, unfortunately.
-I might POSSIBLY be interested in trades for cars/small trucks. Worst I can say is no, send me offers.

GOODS:
Starts first time, every time.
Valid inspection (4/14).
Fresh oil/Crankcase cover/Seals. ($300 w/labor)
Brand new front and rear tire. ($500)
Carbs cleaned and FULLY rebuilt less than 200 miles ago.
Fresh professional Euro-style paint job on the tank and Airtech tail. ($350 in paint labor. $200 for the Airtech tail piece)
Brand new Galfer front dual disc rotors ($300)
Fresh front/rear brake flush done at Redline. ($150)
Brand new battery w/pigtail for charging.
Air box removed for pod filters.
GSXR 600 forks.
New chain.
Projector headlights with high/low beam w/custom streetfighter headlight frame and shield mounted directly to the frame of the bike. ($200)
Hidden flush turn signals.
Trail Tech Vapor gauge cluster ($150)
ABSOLUTELY NO FLUID LEAKS.

BADS:
Slight stutter at higher speeds/gears (getting the carbs synced will fix this for sure. $200 fix, tops. Bike still runs just fine.)
Slight chipping in the tip of the tail (barely noticeable)
Throttle sometimes has to be returned manually (cables need to be tightened; anybody who can use a screwdriver can do this)
Reserve switch on the petcock does not work (very common problem with these bikes. Not an issue at all if you keep gas in the bike)
Exhaust leak from header-muffler (Not a problem at all, just a little loud)

All custom work done to the bike is completely reversible, making it easy to return the bike to its original form if needed.
