Price: $750 obo or trade (trade preferred)
Description: Thinking or trying to downsize my 1987 FZ700 Project. Bike starts and runs, Just need to fine tune the carbs. Has individual pod filters, 4-2-1 header (kinda beat up) and a shorty 8 inch resonator for exhaust. Has a Dynajet Stage 3 jet kit, And is still running way rich so I need to adjust the settings and see if I can get it to clear up, Its bogging around 4k rpm but clears up after that. Also needs something done with the front forks, I dropped them 2 inches through the triples and they are soft enough that it bottoms out. Rear is lowered 2.5 inches as well Maybe upping fork oil weight would fix it. Only other problem is a leaking petcock (wrong one for bike) Bike charges fine (Just replaced alternator, starts (new battery) And lights work. Inspection good through August I have the plastics for the bike, they arent in the best shape. (No side rear plastics. I hacked off about 2 inches of the rear frame and was making a stubby tail piece (as seen in one pic. I have an oval led light included) Its def a project but its all there and in solid shape. Was gonna build a street fighter. Wanting to trade for a small cruiser or older bike in good mechanical condition that I can turn into a bobber/chopper for around town, (even a little 250 Rebel would be perfect) Im just too short for this bike even lowered. More info on request. Im going to try and get the carbs sync'd and it running good this weekend at my buddys shop and the price will go up $50. Shoot me offers!
