This is a 1961 Standard Beetle. Serious inquiries only please!!! It needs a good home to get to because I don't have time for it nor a garage to store it. I would like 4,000 obo or trade for a 2004 or newer sport bike. What you will be getting:
- 87,xxx miles says the title and seems to be original odometer
- looks to be factory paint, faded but looks okay for 47 years old
- Dual port 1600
- Tri-Mil exhaust with J-pipes
- Scat Intake
- recent tune up with new points and condenser
- original painted radio block off plate
- European H4 headlights with city lights
- new fuse box
- new in box white window moldings (which are no longer sold)
All in all the car is perfect for restoration or for an original DD fix up. It has little rust and new floor pans installed by the previous owner. It starts every time and has minimal driveability issues. Right now the only thing it needs is a left wheel bearing and a right wheel cylinder but is still driveable.
