Description:
As the title states I'm trying to sell or trade my 1983 VW Rabbit w/ 1.8t swap.
This car is in great shape but could use a little work and I really just dont have the time to get it finished up. This car is perfect to put your own mark on to get ready for H20. So heres the run down:
Strong AEB 1.8t
-Drive by cable, big port head, secondary air deleted
-Stock Passat ECM and engine harness
-Stock programming
2.5" downpipe and exhaust
-Made by Techtonics tuning specifically for this swap
-Borla Muffler
-Down Pipe through Catalytic converter is heat wrapped
02J Transmission
-No grinds etc.
-Peloquin differential
-Fresh Gear oil
-Brand new Drive axles and CVs
-Brand new Stage one Clutch from ECS with 14 pound flywheel
-NO rust
-Resprayed Porsche GT Silber (silver) (maybe a handful of VWs with this color worldwide)
-No dings
-Shaved corner markers, Hatch lock, antenna, rear wiper, still have badges
-Brand new windshield
-Subtly flared arches. 8 or 8.5" wide wheels shouldn't be an issue anymore.
-All floor insulation removed, Probably 50 pounds removed right there.
-Floor covered and painted in bed-liner. Needs touching up in spots.
Interior
-Passenger front seat is in great condition
-Driver's bolster needs to be recover but the seat over all is good.
-VDO Boost, Water Temp. and Oil pressure gauges.
Wheels
-MK2 polished P-slots
-Though not perfect, they fit the car well.
-Tires are 95%!
Suspension
-FK Highsport coilovers
-Less than 5 months old
-New mount bearings
Other Concerns
As of last week I stumbled upon either an alternator problem or wiring issue that is draining the battery even after the car is shut off. I've been trying to diagnose the problem and trying to get it fixed with the little time I have but I haven't exactly figured it out. The car still runs but the furthest I've driven it is from my driveway to the street.
Also, the interior is a little incomplete. The interior consists of just the dash, front seats, and back seats.
Depending in the route you plan to go with this car this could be a good or bad thing.
The wheel bearing will eventually need to be replaced. I have all the parts need to get it done I just haven't gotten around to doing it. So the parts will be included obviously.
A box of random parts and bits and pieces will also be thrown in.
