1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC coupe with 180k on it. Bought it about 8 months ago from the original owner, it was a 1 owner car for 26 years. Bought it as my 3rd W126, and put a little TLC into it and enjoyed every moment of owning it. Never broke down on me, never gave me a headache, just all the good times and the head turns. I'm selling it because I live in Alabama for most of the year and it just sits in my garage here collecting dust.

I'm just going to list pros and cons, and any other questions or requests for pictures can be asked through the thread or email/text.



Pros:
-Extremely reliable, never broke down driving it for the 1st time in a year from New York to Virginia, never broke down EVER!
-Top end just rebuilt (for peace of mind, I was just having an early valve cover job done and decided to just have it taken apart and put back together)
-Oil/Belts just changed, brakes serviced
-FULLY LOADED model (heated seats, wood dash, etc.)
-New AMG rims (worth over $2K alone)
-2 New front tires (Eagle F1's, have receipt, $450 each), Rear are Falkens with about 70-80%
-Everything in the engine works perfect
-Turns heads EVERYWHERE I go, rare color option
-Extremely fast (0-60 in approx 6.5)
-Had the resonators deleted (drops 40lbs, gives it a quiet yet throaty sound, and better performance/fuel econ.)
-Great hwy gas milage
-Original spare included
-Brand new headunit with aux connectivity and remote


This car is 26 years old mind you...
Cons:
-Some scratches around the car (that can easily be touched up)
-Small dent in DS quarter panel
-Small (2x2in) area unpainted by corner marker
-Roof's clearcoat is fading
-Heat/AC isn't working right now, it used to (should be a small fix, probably a relay)
-Sunroof only pops, doesn't slide
-Drivers seat bolster has minimal damage, and the rear seat headrest has a very small portion needing restitching


If those couple things are fixed, the car will be SHOWROOM condition. I'm very judgemental on my benzes, this is the third W126 benz I've owned, and by far the best.

I will offer to fix all of the above problems prior to sale for about $1500.



I'm interested in trading the car, I'm not in need of the money, but wouldn't mind it if I saw something new I liked. I'm into performance cars, luxury europeans, just about anything, even trucks. Preferably manual. Just let me know what you've got and maybe we can make something work. I will consider project turbo cars, etc., just no single cam hondas please, don't insult me.

Damn I got excited until I rad no single cam hondas. Not even the built turbo kind ?
