Lets see - 1997 Honda Civic EX body has 250k!! - i replaced the engine with one that had about 45k on it, so id assume it has 55k miles on it

-d16y8 and matching 5 speed hydro trans with about 55k miles
-Magnaflow exhaust
-16' Maxxim Screech's wraped in toyo proxies - only about 300 miles
-Ebay header
-Hand polished valve cover
-Spectre performance Intake
-Black housing headlights with halos, projectors, led strip all hooked up to a switch in the cabin that was done the right way: fuse
-type r grill - ebay - crappy
-DIY CTR grill - not featured in pictures but currently installed - better quality
-type r front lip
-drilled / slotted rotors with new pads
-tinted 99 tail lights
-skunk2 shift knob
-skunk2 oil cap
-sony explode head deck - soon to be replaced with a flip up head deck
-2 pioneer 12' subs
-760 watt pioneer amp
-subs and amp wired using 4 gauge wire
-auto gauge tach - will be removed to accommodate the flip up head deck
-brand new battery
-all new ground wires
-new plugs, wires, and cap/rotor
-Blue Tooth - hooked into radio - works extremely well!
-new aluminum "performance spec" radiator
-extremely rare ashtray / cigarette lighter
-stage 2 clutch
-turbo spec cam shaft
-taped oil pan



not installed:

-have megan racing lowering springs on there way
-full poly bushing kit for the entire car
-Monroe replacement shocks - nothings wrong with the stock ones just bought them in case because i got a good deal on them
-new rear drum pads
-the a/c belt isnt on because i was going to take the whole a/c set up out, but i can put it back on if you wish.
-aem fuel regulator

problems:
-3 dings which could be fixed
-the throw out bearing in the transmission is going bad, but isn't very noticeable.


at the moment im getting about 28 mpg city / 31mpg highway

pretty much its ready for 8psi of boost - more safely then just running it stock

what camshaft? most ones i know of your suppose to upgrade the valve train. and what makes this motor better than a stock motor running 8psi?

to tell you the truth, thats the exact phrase i got from the guy i bought the engine from - the it being ready for boost part - because it was previously turbo'd. so i couldn't tell you . i said it is safer to put a turbo on this, then just stock because i sure as hell wouldn't run a turbo on a stock clutch, and you don't have to get a tapped oil pan, or have to get it tapped... etc. its not a built engine - or i would have said that.
