S13 or any cheap drifter
Name: Max
Location: Stafford
Means of contact: phone 5four0 846 7615 (text)
Price: $1200 max
Description:
Looking for a super cheap drifter setup. I don't mind buying a fixer but I do want a vehicle that doesn't need a new engine. Would specifically like an s13 but those are hard to come by at such a low price. Also would be interested in a rolling shell, but only if it is really cheap. Let me know what you got and maybe we can make a deal.

You might want to adjust your expectations here. How much of a budget do you have to get the car into actual shape after you buy it?
Any car for that price range is going to be barely working and its suspension, brakes and various other things will be on their last legs.

This is only my budget for the car, it is to be a project car with a close friend.

As long as you know what you are getting into and have a plan for the build then you are all good. Id expect to replace the brakes (pads, rotors and fluid) and suspension (shocks, springs, bushings etc) from the get go.
Possibly look at less popular rwd cars such as an e30 or e46 bmw. They both have good spec classes which means that reputable shops still sell good parts pretty regularly that were designed for the track.
