MD: 1996 Nissan SE-R for sale/FT
This has definately been one of the more fun cars to drive
The car:
1996 Nissan 200 sx - se-r
Green
150,100 miles (its my DD)
Power everything (door locks, windows and sunroof)
Interior is pretty much mint!!!
The car is my DD, but I have my eye on something else (a little faster, ehh). Hasnt let me down except for a few wear and tear items which I have sorted (or will be in the next day or two)
Problems firts:
- Slight bit of rust in drivers side door (deemed insignificant by my body man, so it hasnt been touched or it hasnt spread at all since I got it)
- Tie rods
- Clear coat peeling on the hood and a little on top of the fenders
- No major dents but little small dings just from DD highway driving on the sides (you can bearly see them!!!)
- The lights for the hvac arent working (just bulbs, nothing serious as all other lights work fine)
Good Stuff:
Pretty much stock
AGX/GC setup which was bought brand new and installed with the proper instuctions from online (silicon, tape, etc). I have the receipt, instuction sheet and all the paper work from when purchased new
A/C was recently recharged and works great.
Brand New front tires (less than 4 k miles on them) The are Hancook HRII tires bought new from discount tire with a receipt and all. The rears have about 15 on them
Power locks, windows and all hardware works. Sunroof is nice (might need a little greasing just because of a little noisy when closing, nothing serious)
SSAC 2.5 collector header. I purchased this from a forum member on here as the stock header began to crack (have a picture). Was installed at my buddies shop with all new gaskets. Its also stainless steel and looks great!!
The car is fresh 4 months out of alignment. Meaning, you dont have to worry about camber or toe wear on your tires (because of the drop on the gc).
The paint is still pretty much as clean as you will get. It still has the depth and pearl from when it left the factory floor!! The owner before me had it garaged kept for a long time
No other sign of rust ANYWHERE(other than whats mentioned above)!!
I have all the receipts from when alot of the parts that were replaced (a book full)
List of some of what are in the book:
1) Clutch done 50k miles ago (loads of life left)
2) Alternator
3) All belts were done
4) Kept up on oil changes
5) Calipers replaced in 2001
I have more in the book.............
I did the front rotors and pads about 12k miles ago. Still have lots of life left (VGX pads and pepboys stock rotors)
I think thats it for right now. I think I listed most of the major stuff. Pics will be up shortly as well.
PRICE: 3300 obo. or trade for something quicker (DA integra (with a swapor turbo ) or MX6 turbo (1gen) or anything sr powered
Thanks, Chris
Dont forget, its Best Offer!!!
