FS: 1994 Honda Prelude VTEC - Richmond - $2900
Yes, I'm posting this for a friend. Yes, technically thats against the rules. I guess thats the perks of the job. If you have a problem with that and feel you must voice your opinion....you'll get a weeks vacation from me from the site. kthx.

Price: $2900
Description:
This is a 1994 Honda Prelude VTEC, fully loaded. Black leather interior. I just bought an E36 M3, and intended on keeping this car, but I don’t have a place for it nor can I give it the attention it deserves.
232,000 miles. 1 previous owner, my uncle, who is responsible for 221,000 of the miles. (mostly highway, this car made several cross country trips.)
I only had it for two years. Only once gave me a problem. (ignition cylinder went bad)
I have all the maintenance records for the car that my uncle kept. Most recently he replaced the halfshafts and had the valves adjusted.
Some history, around mile 100,000, the car threw a rod on a freezing Utah morning. So the block only has 132,000 miles on it.
Performance mods are few: DC intake, Momo steering wheel.
The Good: Reliable car with complete history. It’s still quick and makes pretty noises. I replaced the entire ignition system, trying to fix what ended up being the ignition switch. Well maintained cheap fun car to drive. New alpine deck with 4 new speakers. Maintained with Mobil 1 and Honda filters.
The bad: 5th is crunchy. But smooth with a double clutch/match rev. It’s due for a timing belt. And has the classic vtec prelude hesitation, which only occurs in 1st and 2nd, and is very brief, and does not happen that often.
The ugly: Airbags were deployed as you can see in the photo. (this happened before I got it in a very minor fender bender) An eBay buy and an SRS light removal later and you’re good to go.
I really wanted to keep this car, but I can’t manage it. Give it a good home. More pics on request.
