Description:
This is a well built/well setup 1992 Civic Hatch. It was built for function, not form. This car is really more of an Integra GSR than Civic. GSR parts include motor, complete suspension (control arms, trailing arms, bushings, sway bars, spindles, steering rack), complete brake system (4 wheel discs + type r master + booster + proportioning valve), f/r seats, etc.

Function:
This car was built to be a fast, comfortable daily driver. When my regular track car (95 M3) blew a head gasket, I then built this car to withstand track duty, without sacrificing any DD comfort. This car will out perform most any car you see here for sale. Its been to Summit Pt Shenandoah 2x, and Summit Main 2x. It ran a 1:31 at Summit Main on street tires. All I did was take out the 12" sub, and add front race pads!

DD Features:
Orignially a CX car, I swapped in the entire power steering system from a 1998 GSR. Not only is it now PS, it also has a tighter steering ratio. Rare swap to maintain AC as well. Full interior remains. Has CD player, JL 6.5" fronts, 12" Audiobahn sub, Alpine V12 amp. It will pass emissions and inspection in VA, MD, etc.

Track Features:
Ground Control/Koni Adjustables. 450f/400r. GSR sways. GSR complete brake kit (not just discs/caliper upgrade, huge difference!). 15x7 Drag Wheels w/ Dunlop Star Specs (stickiest street tire available). I even have new Hawk HT-10s with only 2 track days.

Other:
This car has been setup by myself and my friend who is an excellent mechanic who has raced Honda Challenge H1. I am a NASA/SCCA certified track instructor. I have setup my other car (95 M3) to be a nationally competitive autoxer (back in 07). It is not just parts that make the car, but the whole setup. For example, this car has more Caster than probably any Civic out there (3.5 degrees). How did I get that? Its a secret. I swapped in a USDM B16 trans because the close ratios are much better on track. All parts were selected for a reason. This car is faster than just the parts. And most importantly, none of the Daily Driver comforts have been sacrificed.

Why I'm thinking of selling:
I had one of these years ago and I missed it. So I bought this one and completely built it up. Ive really enjoyed it, but with newer car prices getting so cheap, Im thinking about selling this and getting a really nice DD like a E46 M3, Z06 vette, or STI.

I can't sell the Civic until I finish rebuilding my E36 M3 motor. That will probably be done end of February. I'd really like to sell it to someone who is interested in performance driving, not just drag racing or hardparking. This car can help you become a better driver by getting into autox or track events. I can help you get into either or both, maybe even get you a free autox. You'll be amazed when you can take an on ramp at 65+ mph in this car. I just want to see what interest there is on a unique Civic that is faster on track and in the twisties than any of the following cars: S2000, 350Z, E46 M3, Integra Type R, WRX, etc.

Reliability:
This car is 100% reliable which is important to know when buying swapped/modded cars. There are no issues with the car, and since pretty much every moving part is new or has less than 30k miles on it, you will not have to do any maintenance/repairs in the near future. Anyone who's bought a modded car and had to deal with issues knows how important this is.
