F/S: 92 Civic VX Hatch Teal w/salvage title
CAR IS SOLD, CLOSE THREAD
I bought this civic with the intentions of fixing it and using it as my daily, but I have too many projects going on at the moment, so I am thinking about cutting it loose. The car is a 92 Civic Hatch VX with 160k miles. The car runs and drives great. I bought the car like it is now and drove it two hours back to my house. It also has working a/c. No power steering from the factory. The story with the car is that the owner before me was driving to work one day and a car in front of him was struck by another car. The car then glanced off the one in front of him and struck the hatch. The insurance company deemed the car salvaged. I do have the title to the car, but you cannot retitle it until the car is fixed and inspected. The car basically needs a radiator support, drivers side fender, bumper cover, and hood. there are a few other dents and dings here and there, but nothing major. Drivers rear quarter has a couple of tiny rust bubbles, but nothing all the way through, just surface rust. The interior is pretty clean as well. Carpet is torn on the drivers side and it needs to be cleaned up. Has the stock VX wheels with newer tires on it. Like I said, this car is really not in bad shape and it would make a great daily with a little bit of work. Or it would make a great tack car. If you need parts, you could also use it for that, but the car really has too much potential in my opinion to part it out.
Car is located in Lynchburg VA. The battery is starting to die, but I think it's just where it's been sitting. Car also has a short throw shifter. Just looking to sell the car straight out now, so please no more trade requests.
Price: $1,000 Firm this week.
