Bone stock 1994 Lexus LS400 $2900
Name: Thomas Morataya
Location: Columbia, MD
Means of contact: Text 240 494 6341
Price: $3500 OR early 90's Toyota 4x4 Pickup truck
Description: I have for sale a 1994 Lexus LS400. I just bought this car about two months ago, but I have decided to sell it because I want a truck. I bought it with 142,000 miles. It has a little over 145,000 miles now. It is black with black interior When I took it to Maryland State Inspection, it failed on front lower ball joints, chip in windshield, and wipers. I had it all taken care of. I used OEM ball joints from Lexus of Rockville, so this car is ready to rock. If you live in Virginia, this car will easily pass since Maryland State Inspection is a lot more strict. I am the third owner. The first owner sold it in 1999. 2nd owner bought it and took care of it. Theres a bunch of receipts to show all the work done.
Here are some of the major repairs that were done to it over the past few years:
-Power Steering pump
-AC compressor
-Timing belt
-Spark Plug and Wires
-Fuel Filter
Theres plenty of more including regular oil changes. This car starts up every time. The farthest I've gone with this car is to West Virginia. I work in HVAC, so the A/C is ICE cold. Theres a lot more, but thats off the top of my head. Car has no rust. She drives very smooth and stops like a champ. The car used premium gas only.
Here are some minor things wrong with the car:
-Clock & HVAC LCD is blacked out. This is a VERY common problem with these cars. There is a service on eBay that replaces the LCD for $70 bucks.
-There is a light on the dash that means a brake light is out. All my lights are in working condition, including the brake lights. I did some digging around and another common problem is that some of the wires along the trunk hinge get pinched or there could be a bad/loose ground that normally causes the light to go on. Although, I have not looked into it, I'm 99% sure that is the problem. This WAS NOT a problem during the inspection.
-A tear in the front driver seat. (not surprised for a 19 year old car)
-Small dent on driver side door
I'm not hiding anything. Gas is just too expensive for me at the moment, and I would also like a truck.
Please send me a text if interested or have any questions. I can meet up in Bethesda during the week since I work there.
I am asking for $3500. I am also interested in early 90's Toyota 4x4 Pickups.
Pictures:
I will post more pics Friday.
9/5/13: Sounds like there are signs that the power steering has a leak. I will investigate further. I am willing to lower the price if I don't have it fixed. $2900 OBO without fix. Price will stay the same if I do have it fixed.
