How so? An sbc swap only adds 100-125 pounds overall to the car, and doesn't affect the handling of the car much at all. It provides hp and tq at a price that no other engine can compete with.

right, but the L28E is what makes this car what it is. should have gone with a L28ET swap...but it's your car, do whatever you want.

What makes any early Z what it is is the weight of the car and it's handling abilities. There is a reason websites like Hybridz exist, because the Z's are open to ANY engine, it's all in the fun of it.

Steven's Z is gone! But I may be interested in selling mine for the right price. It looks exactly like his except faded more. Mine has a rebuilt engine with arp studs and a metal headgasket. I put the engine in and it just sat for the past few years, I only ran it for a couple minutes and then parked it lol- 0miles!!!
