OK, I'll give you some kind of answer in a couple days. LS3 is just a tad bit easier in an NB miata and they do look better when done right, but the NA is lighter and already a work in progress....so tough decision.

It's cool, you sell it you sell it, I don't have the cash right now, I am working on it though. V8 NB is appealing, but I'm not giving up my NA for it, that way I can boost the NA .

somebody buy this car from this man before I can't resist it anymore. 5-speed swap wouldn't cost $800 and a day to do (if that) and you could get $8-9K out of her easy. LSX V8 swap wouldn't cost ~$10,000 and would be one nasty ass car.

for the 5-speed, just get a trans/flywheel/clutch/pedal/slave and master cylinder and bolt it all in.

 

either one...i had contemplated putting in a 350/700r4....but i might just do the 5 speed swap...i see tranny on ebay for aroung 300
