I also hate it when people whine about distance.
Shipping (not towing) is dirt cheap if you know where to look. I just got a car picked up this morning in Jacksonville NC and it it on its way to Fairfax Va for $200. It took 3 days to line it up and 1.5 days to transport. Or you could get a tow dolly from Uhaul for fity bux and borrow your boys truck.
