1995 Honda Prelude Shell / Swap
Hey there this is a 1995 Prelude Si with a H23 2.3 liter engine. I recently had the timing belt break on me. I figured that I would replace it myself and do all the timing as well. Never had a problem before with working on my cars. I guess I had more damage to the internal than I thought. When I went to start it up I got some tapping from the valves, but it sounded like it was running on 2 cylinders. I have replace the timing belt and the balance belt when I had everything torn down.

The car has a new OEM clutch as of May 2008
The cars has new front tires, not even 10 miles on them. (BFG's)
15 inch Rota Flights, some rash but not bad from a distance.
Full exhaust, ebay headers, test pipe, and ebay twin loop muffler.
Lowered on Skunk springs, have the stock ones as well.
Windows tinted, not very well though.
Cold air intake.
EGR Valve deleted.
New NGK spark plugs and NGK wires as of July.
Alpine deck with 6.5 in Alpine speakers all around.
Shifter was cut by previous owner to make shorter to make the height lower.
Bad..
The car was stolen from the owner before me. There is some scratches, both front fenders are dented in. The back left has a dent too.
When I had the clutch changed something must of happened and the speedo stopped working. I did replace the speed sensor and the whole power steering rod that turns it from the tranny, but still didn't fix it. I think it just needs a new gauge cluster. Stopped at 208,000 miles.
The leather seat are torn, they have seat covers and the carpet could be replaced as well.
Not to sure about the swap, I was told it got a new H23 with 60,000 miles around 120,000 miles on the body. This engine will need a new set of valves or at least a new head to swap onto the block.
