^ Word of advice... straight exhaust gets old in a hurry on a NA car... you don't have a turbo to muffle the sound. Leave the stock pipes in place and install some top end electic cutouts. That way you can have your cake and eat it too. I've had enough mufflerless V8s to know it gets old.

Exactly. I'm going with DMH cutouts - I had them on my S4, they were great. Our boat has cutouts so it's kind of the same deal, quiet when needed, but loud when you feel like it. I can't get over the sound of an idling V8 with 3 feet of straight headers.

I'm considering ditching the American V8 and going with an American V10... but it wouldn't be until next summer.

Viper? I remember your thread a while back about the Viper event at VIR. Those are some serious cars - I actually looked at some vipers on Autotrader yesterday out of curiosity....More than I want to pay right now for a DD - totally not practical!

Owning one would be so fun though.

I'd never want one as a DD... that's what my Canyon is for.

Agreed. I'll be using the SRT as my DD, it'll be fun and quick, but not over the top.
