1990 Toyota Tercel (motor knocks) $300
109,000 original miles
Motor starts right up but knocks (rod bearings)
This is a mechanics special..
Auto transmission shifts great.. also have the original window sticker..

It would really be a good idea to do an internet search on this car if you are considering a purchase.
It smokes a bit, but if you are tearing it down to do the rod , you will be in position to put in some piston rings/seals as well.
This would be perfect for someone that has a motor to drop in or the mechanical aptitude to put this car back on the road. It was a 1 owner when I purchased it to fix but lost interest. Transmission shifts great; car also has A/C.

fwiw, the 3EE (engine in there) is notorious for rod bearing knock. every one we got in from japan we would instantly replace the bearings...thats how bad they are. slap some new bearing in and go. bump for a cheapo daily
