1989 Mazda Rx7 S5 GTU
Name: Chris
Location: Midland, VA
Means on contact: PM or text me at 540-522-1558
Trades: Honda Civic Coupe, Hatch 5spd or an Integra
Price: $2700 OBO
Description: Hello everyone, I am interested in selling/trading my red 1989 Mazda Rx7 GTU. It is in great condition for its year and has been a reliable DD for me. I have had Rx7s in the past and I just feel its time to move on to something new. I would like $2700 for it. I have added a new Sony head unit and side door speakers because the old ones were shot. I left the lower radio din open because I was going to put gauges in it.
Details:
Mileage: 106,000
Exterior Condition: Good, minor dings and paint fade
Interior Condition: Very Good, take a look at pics
Modifications: Everything is stock. I have a set of polyurethane suspension bushings and a pair of the DTSS Eliminators that I will throw in as well.
The Bad:
-The rear speakers are blown so I have not had time or money to fix them.
-Recall on passenger seatbelt, however take it to MAZDA and they will fix it for free
-Fuel sending unit has problems. The gauge drops to E after half tank. I always refill at 350 miles which averages to a little over 20 MPG. It does not bother me that much.
-Fifth Gear slightly grinds occasionally going in. I have a warranty for it for 90 days so it can exchanged for another transmission if it bothers you. (Just text me for details)
-Other than those few minor problems the car runs great and has treated me very well! The car has great potential for race, drift, or even just DD! Just text or PM me for any questions! Thanks!
