I am selling my S30 project. Some of you may know of this car. I do not want to sell it but other priorities sometimes make us all do things we may regret... That said, however, I am in no rush to sell and have a ton of money in this car despite it's relatively short mod list.
I bought the car last summer from a Z collector. It had a little rust and some minor mechanical issues. Almost every issue has been addressed and this is a very solid car. I have always kept in in a garage and only really drive it some weekends in nice weather. This car is very reliable and starts up every time and runs like it is brand new. It could be daily driven as well.
The motor is stock and has 148k on the L28 engine. Has no leaks or strange noises.
The old bumpers have been removed and the fenders have been cut to allow the larger wheels. The wheels are REAL RS-Watanabe R-Types purchased directly from RS-Watanabe Japan through Eiji Hosomi of Datsun Spirit. They come with every accessory they offered: Lug nuts, wheel locks, valve stems and colored valve stem caps, and black/red center caps. They are gunmetal with machined lips and are in perfect condition with no scratches or curb rash.
The fender mirrors are very rare and are not just some mirrors off ebay, they are the OEM mirrors offered in 1970 from Nissan as stock mirrors for the 240Z and 240ZG in Japan only. I purchased them brand new for over $500.
The coilovers are from Arizona Z and the guy who makes them only makes about a dozen sets a year. They are considered one of the best coilover options for this car. They have adjustable shocks as well. They have a wide range of ride heights. They can go another 2 inches lower(then I have it currently) or be set back to stock ride height.
I'm sure I will think of more to add as I like to be as thorough as possible when it comes to selling my things. If you are interested in the car PM me to set up a time to look at the car. If you have an issue with the car itself, price, me, etc. please keep it out of this thread. Thanks for looking
BUILD THREAD
GOOD:
VERY RARE 5-speed optional trans
Frame rails/floor pans are good
Stock motor runs great and is ready for modification
Bodywork is mostly done
Interior is perfect
BAD:
Has small rust spot under the hood on the subframe - easily taken care of but it was missed when I was removing rust
Has primer on the spots where bodywork was performed - so it needs paint
A/C works but needs a recharge
Asking $9500
No trades please.

You ever hear the statement "once in a lifetime?" This is it...I'd find something else to sell before this.
Cliffs: sweet car.

O man, this car is delicious. I wish I had the monetary means to obtain this majestic automobile. However, I am a poor child..But some day I shall seek this car out once more! One day. GLWS
