95 Honda Civic w/ H22 Motor
Name: White 95 Honda Civic
Location: Xions crossroads palmyra
Means of contact: (434) 284-1533
Price: $1200 OBO
Description: Good car, but needs quite a bit of work, I myself am absolutely horrible with cars and don't know where to begin to fix it. Needs a new airbag (previous one was taken out by previous owner) the radiator is loose, but still functions, power steering was messed with/taken out, not quite sure which (again by previous owner). and the interior is pretty well used. Car still does run well enough and comes with a nice sound system, good tires, and from what I've heard, a good motor.

Re: 95 Honda Civic w/ H22 Motor
why are you listing it here for $200 more than on craigslist? sure its OBO, but why ask more here? http://charlottesville.craigslist.or...257203505.html
by the way, what trim level is this? does it have power windows? what is the "sound system" that comes with the car? whats the inspection date? -looks like september, but is it 2010 or 2011?

Re: 95 Honda Civic w/ H22 Motor
just google the honda h23 motor. he may be correct with this one guys. the h23 does remind you of you basic ls but here are the specs and a little pic. not taking sides just trying to help everyone out.
H23
The H23 was an increased-stroke, non-VTEC version of the H22, used in Japan, North America, and Europe. It shared the same Fiber Reinforced Metal (FRM) cylinder wall liners with the H22.
Specifications
* Bore × Stroke: 87.0 × 95.0 mm (3.43 × 3.74 in)
* Displacement: 2,258 cc (137.8 cu in)
* Valve Configuration: DOHC, 16 valves
* Type: In-line 4 cylinder, aluminum block and head
* Compression ratio: 9.8:1
* Max power: 160 hp (119 kW; 160 hp)
* Max torque: 156 ftˇlbf (212 Nˇm)
* Redline: 7500rpm
* Engine Control System: Honda Systems PGM-FI with port fuel injection
* Valve Gear: belt-driven dual overhead cams, 4 valves per cylinder
looks a little different then what you have. so if it is indeed a h23 get a pic of the block to show everyone. if not correct the thread. it does look to be ls but its def a possibility it may be h23.
