how is this possible ? must be more to it or you were improperly informed. A salvage title is not going to be issued for a 300 dollar bumper and a 100 dollar taillight. There has to have been more damage and it was fixed and inspected by a dmv inspector or it was stolen and everything was ripped out and off of it to bring the value down to like 2k dollars. You are only going to get a salvage title if there was 75% or more damage or stolen parts than the value of the car, and the owner bought it back and it was all fixed or replaced. Not for a bumper and a taillight.
