the reason why your idle is so high is bc of the fast idle thermal valve on the bottom of the throttle body. its two phillips head screws and the (thermostat looking piece in the tb) backs itself out slowly over time you just need to tighten it back and you will be good to go

for some reason this TB has a fast valve and i did adjust it...lowered the idle from 2.5 to 2k rpm, not sure what else. just dont have the time to really work on it...BTW PENDING SALE...
