1997 EJ6 Hatch F22
Name: J
Location: Lewisburg WV
Means of contact: PM, post in thread, or text(before calling) 3 oh 4 - 2oh7 - 7 six two 9
Price: $4K Trades: 4cyl 4wd truck, Subaru Legacy or Impreza(96+), I4 or I6 Jeeps. I'll consider almost anything that's cheap on maintence. NO ED/EF'S, DA INTEGRAS! also no Chevy Blazers/S10 with the 4.3L Vortec, not to big on Rangers and no full-size trucks please.
I got this car in trade and have had it since 4/14/12. I DD it and does good for what it is. I'm not fond of the rock hard urithane mounts as they do viberate a lot... I could paint this car pink and return it to the adult toy store.
1997 Honda Civic DX hatch
77K on the speedo, car came from PA where they don't log odometers. Chassis milage unknown.
Engine:
F22B2 from a salvage 97 LX Accord(have receipt form purchase) 101,728 was on the cars odometer
Fresh headgasket, t-belt, waterpump, and VC gasket
eBay intake
ACT lightweight flywheel
Spec stage 4 clutch
Go-Autoworks radiator with shroud and slim fan
eBay mount kit(thumbs down)
Engine warrenty expires 5/1/12
Trans shifts smooth(New Royal Purple fluid in) no grinds or popouts
Suspension:
New KYB AGX struts on all 4 corners
Tein Green drop springs
Rides good for being lowered
Camber kit on all 4 corners, Alignment set for 5/25
Rollers:
BMW bottlecaps
New-ish 195/60R14 tires with maybe 2000miles on them
Body/Misc:
eBay blackhousing headlamps
Xentec 10000K bi-xeon HIDs
Prelude front seats
I've installed most of the a/c system. Needs a new condenser
The Bad:
Couple small dents here and there, nothing too bad.
Headliner needs wrapped
Check Engine Light for EGR valve(running the stock prelude/accord obd-1 ecu w/ xenocron obd2a-OBD1 jumper)
Will include a JDM H22A that needs the crank turned and to be rebuilt. Yes, I have all the interior pieces, just didn't have the kick panels installed on the passanger side due to removing the harness.
I'm in no rush to sell/trade, I like the powerband of the engine and still able to get 30mpg it's just the mounts kill it for me. Just seeing offers and entertaining getting out of honda all together
If a trade happens, I meet halfway
Any request for other pics just ask, can provide videos if requested
*****UPDATE! Removed the crappy flat black paint!******
(Hood is a replacement, there was no factory paint on it. Will be taken to have hood painted soon. Still working on the back hatch, there's some spots that are really baked on)

Re: 1997 EJ6 Hatch F22
I have not done shit to this car lol. I got it in trade, onlything I have done is fixed the previous owners foul ups and mocked up the a/c system.
Story behind the F22 is dude got this car as a shell and didn't want to put a D back in it. Bought the F swap parts and was going to build for boost. Hit hard times with cash and decided to drop a stock engine in and use it for a beater. His first engine had a bent valve that he didn't know about and it proceded to put a hole in the piston and FUBAR'd the head. This pissed him off more and he wanted to get rid of it. I had a Del Sol I told him I'd trade if he bought a motor from a local salvage yard that had a warrenty. I have a golden retriver and it doesn't fit too well in a Del Sol, back seats in the hatch fold down and he has the best seat in the house now.
The torque is fun, stock block can take 300-350ish hp with boost all day. I'm keeping it stock since I like getting 32mpg with the hopes of finding a good ac condensor so it has ice cold a/c with a swap.
Windows have been tinted 20% rear 35% front
Re-tinted the tail light to hode the uglyness(and still have light come through.
Harness has been replaced and not longer a fire hazard.
Moved battery back into the engine bay
Steamcleaned the interior
Going out today and am going to try to buff the Krylon paint off the car. I'd rather see some cleaarcoat peel than chipping flatblack paint
