The Good: Great running car, would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. handles amazingly with a good set of wheels and tires on it, stops quick. ive never had a single major problem out of the car that wasnt caused by me.
the engine is one i bought from a member on ch, had about 125k on it when i bought it. i have since put about 15k on it. i put a new set of spark plugs in it when i got it, and other then that i have not had any problems out of it.
The Bad: the list of bad things might seem long, but they are all little things that i have just not cared to fix.
-front corner light is missing. bumper was drug on a driveway by my mom, broke the corner, and ripped some of the wiring. could easily be fixed.
-paint is pretty crappy, but what do you expect for a 15 year old red honda?
-autometer oil press gauge does not work and is not hooked up.
-the tint is old, and turning purple. the drivers quarter window does not have tint from an attempted break in, and i just never got the window retinted.
-the car has aftermarket carpet in it now, which sucks. it needs to be replaced. i can either leave it in, or pull it out depending on what the purchaser wants.
-front speakers were mounted in a bad way. there are no speaker grills on the front lower speakers, and the door panel was trimmed, so none can be installed. the rear speaker grills are missing, but should be able to be installed.
-drivers door panel has a hole in the arm rest from my elbow.
-there is a water leak, leaks into the trunk. this seems to have gotten bad lately, but i have not been driving the car much, so i have not spent the time to figure it out.
-drivers seat is pretty well worn, passenger seat shows some wear, the back seats are pretty minty.
-car could use a new tune
-abs does not work. i cannot remember the code, but something in the abs unit itself. didnt feel like fixing it, so i just pulled the fuse for the abs motor.
-exhaust hanger on the muffler is broken, but i will have this fixed before the sale
-it has a fal fan setup in it, but one fan was damaged, and so i just cut it out. still has one good working fan.
-i just noticed yesterday that one of the cam seals is leaking on the dizzy side. have not investigated.
like i said, i know that all sounds like alot, but i am just trying to be as honest as possible when selling this car. i have owned the car for almost 8 years now, and have alot of blood, sweat, tears, and money in this car, but it is just time for me to move on. any questions, feel free to ask. comments welcome, critisism is not. keep the trash talk out of my thread please.
i am asking $5500. if you would like to see the car, that can be set up for pretty much anytime.
