Re: 1991 ef civic hatchback WTT hid exhaust frankenstein trans
Yeah, you were lied to bro. There's no possible way to have a "2000 SI" trans. in this car, with a D-series engine. The highest D-series "SI" engine would be the ZC/Z6 from '95.
The only possible way to have a "2000 SI D-series anything" under that hood would be if the trans. was from Canada. (What we call an "EX", they call an "SI".)
---NOT TRYING TO BE A DICK, SO DON'T MISUNDERSTAND---
I'm going to type all of this because I'm bored as hell at home, for my own entertainment.
But my advice would be to list off everything legit about the car. For instance:
Name: Bryan
Location: Powhatan, VA
Trades: Other Hondas, especially 88-91 Honda Civic Sedan.
Contact: PM/Call/Text: 804-245-2720
The car is a 1991 Honda Civic STD. (Standard [base model {as evident by leather-ish seats, lack of center trim, 4-speed shifter setup with STD model shift boot, and lack of A/C button}])
Gauge cluster from an LX/EX/SI model Civic (as evident from the added tachometer, not available on STD/DX/HF models.) Reads 216k miles.
6k-ish watt HID's.
6-Inch Power Acoustik touch-screen stereo headunit.
"$400" MagnaFlow dual exhaust and header.
Chrome-styled aftermarket 3-piece taillight set.
Partially-removed rear interior.
Minor body damage to hood, FL hood and door.
Factory D15B1 engine. Rebuilt within 75k miles.
Replaced trans. (Possible 5-speed [unknown year/model])
Aftermarket air intake.
