1990 Honda Civic DX Hatchback
Name: Chris T.
Location: Richmond, VA
Means of Contact: PM
Trades: 90-91 CRX Si (Preferably all stock), 94-95 Integras, 94-95 Accords.
Price: $2,200obo
Description: It's a 1990 Honda Civic DX Hatchback. It's gold with the brown interior. 232k miles on the body. It has a clean title. I've owned this car for four years now and I bought it completely stock with 178k miles. The body has it's share of dings and dents for a 20 year old car. The front of the car was also hit. Someone hit me in my schools parking lot and never left a note. It didn't mess things up that bad as you can see in the pics. The motor rarely sees over 3000rpms. I can't stress how well the motor in this car runs. The car does need a little TLC but what 20 year old car doesn't? The price is somewhat negotiable and I can add cash on top of this car for a good trade.
The Good:
- OBD1 DOHC ZC Motor purchased from HMotorsOnline in August of 2007
- OBD1 P29 ECU also from HMotorsOnline
- Rywire OBD0-OBD1 conversion harnesses
- '88 Si transmission
- Exedy OEM Clutch (less than 5k miles on it)
- Generic short ram intake
- JVT Racing Header (pretty much a rebranded Megan Racing)
- 91 Civic Si front seats
- 91 Civic Si gauge cluster (odometer reads 142k, but that isn't the right mileage)
- 91 Civic Si center console and shift boot
- OEM floor mats
- H&R Race Springs
- KYB AGX Adjustable Struts
- Generic strut tower bars
- 15x7" Gunmetal Rota Slipstreams
- 205/50 Kumho Ecstas
- Thule bike rack
- VW Jetta front lip
- Red center tail light garnish (stock was black)
- Some new parts in the past year including: alternator, distributor, OEM axle back, inner tie rod ends, wheel bearings, rear brake shoes, front brake pads.
- I have extra stuff that will be included: the original 4 speed transmission, used 90-91 exedy oem clutch, the original gauge cluster, the original owners manual haha
The Bad:
- Could use a front bumper, bumper lenses, and bumper filler piece
- Drivers side window is off track (getting fixed this week)
- There's no cd player, but there is Clarion speakers in the doors that worked great before my CD player died.
- Reverse doesn't work that well (pops out, grinds)
- Glovebox is broken
- Drivers seat has the typical bolster tear
