Price: [strike]$2750 Or Best REASONABLE Offer[/strike] [strike]$1300 FIRM[/strike] $1200 NO TRADES!!!
Description:
I am selling my project car. I had big plans for this car, but I ran out of time/money/effort. The car is a 1978 Honda Civic 1200 2 door Hatchback 4 Speed Manual, with 71,xxx miles on the odometer. It is white in color, and the exterior is pretty much flawless. The interior is blue. The drivers seat has some wear and tear. The carpet isn't in the best shape on the drivers side either. Other than that, the car is in mint shape, as you can see in the pictures. Now, the bad. There is no motor/transmission in the car. The engine had spun a bearing, and damaged a rod. I sent the block to Hops in Hampton, and they put a new rod, bearings, and machined the crank. The head still needs to be redone. As far as I know, there is nothing really wrong with the head, just old, and some gunk build up. The car hasn't ran in 15 years. It was in an old ladys garage, under a car cover. It was her husbands, he died, and she just kept it. She really didn't know what to do with it. I acquired it, and had big plans. The motor will need an oil pump (which I have yet to find) or a rebuild kit (which I can't find). I have pretty much everything for the car. Motor/Trans/axles, exhaust, everything that was taken off, I still have, as well as a gasket set. My batteries died in the camera before I could get pics of everything, but I will get some up asap. All I could get were pics of the car. I really don't want to get rid of it, but all the toys must go. This thing only weighs 1500 lbs, so whatever gets done to it, I'm sure it will scoot.
Trying to buy a house, and it definitely isn't cheap.
Perfect candidate for a D swap, rear mount turbo. (What I had planned )

In the pics, the hood isn't attached, it is just sitting there for the sake of pictures.

I have even more pics, if you want to see them, just ask, and I can email them to you.
